Terms & Conditions of your booking

1. Accuracy of information Although every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information in our brochures, on our web sites and on printed material, The Wales Golf Holiday Company Ltd (hereinafter WGHC) cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions and furthermore it reserves the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the packages advertised The WGHC will endeavour to inform clients of major changes to hotels and courses, however, some changes regarding venue, condition, standard and facilities may not be available at the time of booking. The WGHC cannot be held responsible for the effect of such changes on the golf holiday Whilst we make every effort to validate the standard and availability of facilities at the venue you have booked, please note that we are acting as agents for that venue. If you have a complaint during your stay please contact the appropriate duty manager. Please also advise us in writing of your comments/issue or complaint

2. Confirmation of booking Enquiries and replies are considered as provisional unless or until a deposit is paid to WGHC. On receiving a deposit, the lead client, acting on behalf of the party, will receive a receipt, confirmation and information pack. A unique booking reference number will be assigned and the lead name will be required to sign and return the booking authorisation form The booking, including the specified accommodation, tee times and (if required) transfers, will then be secure and changes thereafter are subject to availability Please note however that the tee times requested and agreed at booking stage may, exceptionally, be changed by the golf clubs and clients will be informed by WGHC accordingly

3. Terms of payment The WGHC accepts all major credit and debit cards (no surcharges apply to deposit or balance payments), cheques should be made payable to The Wales Golf Holiday Company and bank credit transfers (including CHAPS) are also accepted The booking is made secure on the payment of a deposit, usually £50 per head, and thereafter confirmation correspondence (as above), will be send to the lead name of the party. The balance for the golf break is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. If the balance is not paid by this time or within a timescale agreed by WGHC, then your golf break is at risk and maybe cancelled with the subsequent loss of deposit

4. Pricing principles Golf breaks/holidays/tours are usually quoted to include B&B accommodation, green fees and standard rate VAT with 2 sharing a twin or double room and for weekdays. They are subject to change Single and weekend supplements are usually applied DBB tariffs are usually available

5. Codes of conduct, standards of dress and etiquette Hotels and Golf Clubs registered with WGHC have their own codes of conduct and standards of performance. Golf Clubs enforce dress code and playing standards (some require handicap certificates) At all times party leaders should ensure that their party members comply with these local rules In general Golf Clubs will not allow: denims, trainers, sleeveless and collarless shirts, non tailored shorts, combat fatigues, track suits, rugby style shirts, zip up jackets nor men’s facial jewellery If members of the party do not have handicap certificates nor belong to an affiliated golf club, then the lead person should check with WGHC. The minimum requirements for all golfers in a party will be: play to a standard of no worse than 28 handicap (men) and 36 (ladies), have their own equipment, have the proper attire and understand the rules & etiquette of the game Courtesy and respect should be displayed at all times in the hotel and on the golf course Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated by hotels nor golf clubs and punitive action taken by either is final and WGHC will not be held responsible for the effect on the golf break should anyone in the party be asked to leave

6. Cancellations and amendments Cancellation by clients following deposit but prior to balance being paid. This will result in loss of deposit Cancellation after balance being paid. WGHC cannot guarantee any form of refund but will use its best endeavours to refund a proportion of the balance paid. No guarantees are offered in this respect Amendments to bookings in respect of reductions in numbers prior to the balance being paid. Usually the deposit can be refunded but not guaranteed Amendments to bookings in respect of reductions in numbers after the balances have been paid. Refunds cannot be guaranteed Amendments to bookings in respect of increases. Price and accommodation/tee times are subject to availability

7. Other conditions General conditions/winter weather: Annual maintenance and renovation programmes are an essential feature of golf course preparation (inter alia: hollow tining, aeration, top dressing). At times temporary greens and tees may be in play and WHGC cannot be held responsible for the effect of these programmes and general weather conditions on the golf break. In particularly inclement weather a golf course may be officially “out of play”, in such circumstances an appropriate refund will be made to the party by WGHC retrospectively Playing format: Usually 3 or 4 players per tee time playing their own ball. If a different format is required please check with WGHC or the Golf Club concerned. Exceptionally some courses have a pairing rule whereby a tee time of 3 players or less will be paired up so as to make 4 players Slow play: Slow play is to be avoided at all times Mobile phones: Restrictions will be in place please refer to local rules
