The
Celtic Manor golf complex provides three premier courses
each of which are of the highest quality, all courses
are 18 hole championship
status.
The new Montgomerie course is a stern test at 6300, par 69. The second course at the complex
is the championship standard Roman Road , set amongst
the historic - Via Julia (the road built by the Romans
to their fortress at Caerleon) and the surrounding
woodland. The course provides some breath taking views
over the Monmouthshire countryside. Roman Road was the venue to the 2005, 2006 & 2007 Wales Opens (European Tour Event).
The
Ryer Cup course has been specifically designed for the 2010 Ryder Cup. It is 7500 yards par 71 and offers an unrivalled test of parkland championship golf. It opens on a limited basis from 4th July 2007.
The resort
is to be found adjacent to junction 24 of the M4. |
